Greetings dear Rotarians.
Due to paucity of time, this week's edition of Lighthouse is a bit "slim".
We had our meeting only earlier this week (and it has been a busy week for President Kapil's team, indeed); so our data has been a bit delayed in coming.
But we did not want to miss this chance to bring you some more joy for the week through the bulletin, even if in some small way.
...And of course, our Minutes of Meeting from the last meeting.
Please do read through.
As for the positive vibes:
This is something I’ve admired in Rotarians well before I joined RCM, thanks to my father-in-law CN Ramdas: The ability to be a part of something, initiate and drive something big and adapt the same to their lives outside of the Rotary, all at the same time! Never fails to amaze me. Take the recent Phase of multiple vaccination camps, for example. The Rotary year didn’t start with this project, but as soon as there was a void observed in communities, our RCMers stepped in with a game-plan, with more fellow Rotarians joining in support by volunteering, taking charge, offering their own premises, conducting mini-camps in their own neighbourhoods, dealing with hurdles and obstacles, receiving brickbats and bouquets with equanimity and all set to do the same all over again for Phase 2; or 3 or 4 and beyond. So inspiring, so energising...
Have a great weekend!
