Happy Birthday RCMers, for it was on this day, in 1929, that our club was inaugurated, thus making this day as the 94th Inaugural day of the ROTARY CLUB OF MADRAS.
Our club has seen and weathered a World War, many Indo-Pak wars, Indo-China wars, Natural calamities like Earthquakes, Floods, Tsunami etc. and come out unscathed to grow even stronger than what our founder may have envisaged.
Moreover, it has not only passed muster, but has seen through the rein of 93 different helmsman, with all their quirks and ideosyncracies.
That the Rotary club of Madras, is still alive and kicking is proof enough that the organisation is Greater than any individual, that has passed through this Vehicle called RCM.
