The Bio-Methanation Plant at Chennai Primary School, Thiruvanmiyur, was generously donated by The Thoon Trust, the philanthropic trust of our own Rtn Kadiresan Adityan R. Through this initiative, Rotary Club of Madras and Thoon Trust reaffirm their commitment to sustainable waste management and a cleaner, greener neighbourhood. The plant was inaugurated by our President Nikhil Raj, joined by members of the Environment Committee and RCMers, Rtn P B Prasad, Rtn Vikram, Rtn Sabina Narayan, Rtn Sumit, Rtn Dr Hande and his wife, volunteers from the Kasturba Nagar RWA, and the School Headmistress.
